On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Demonstrate scientific inquiry skills to assess the effectiveness of any research approach when faced with potential organisational research questions.
LO2 Critically evaluate the existent literature available and draw inferences from that literature.
LO3 Demonstrate the ability to evaluate and select the appropriate research method for gathering empirical data relevant to the research question posed.
LO4 Demonstrate the ability to analyse data gathered and to draw appropriate conclusions and recommendations based on that data.
LO5 Develop the capacity for self-directed enquiry and the ability to manage a complex research project
LO6 Formulate rigorous explanations for the research findings presented.
LO7 Present their research findings before a board of examiners and defend the approach adopted and the significance of the knowledge presented
