Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Develop a critical awareness of implementation science and how it relates to current context in social and not for profit service provision.
LO2 Demonstrate ability to search for, understand and analyse research to assess the evidence base for specific interventions in order to identify good practice.
LO3 Formulate strategies to promote the integration of evidence into practice and be to critically apply project management theory and techniques, developing the competencies to manage the key implementation challenges.
LO4 Demonstrate the ability to plan and implement evaluations of projects and effectively disseminate findings to contribute to the existing evidence base.
LO5 Critically evaluate stakeholder engagement methods and be able to apply these in order to scale successful projects and address challenges in relation to sustainability of positive change.

Learners will write a report on the evidence base for an area of practice. This will identify evidence based practice for an area of service delivery relevant to their work. This will be targeted at a funding agency who may fund a pilot programme.

Assessment Description:
Learners will complete an individual project plan for introducing a new evidence based practice into their service. This will identify challenges to implementing the proposed changes and responses to these challenges drawing on the literature for good practice in implementation science and project management. The assignment will also include a plan for evaluation and scaling should the initiative be successful.
