On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 LO 1. Be able to apply research methodology and tools to research in business technology, and business management.
LO2 LO 2. Have skills necessary for the use of different data resources to investigate the chosen project topic.
LO3 LO 3. Have an understanding of the linkages between the various taught course elements and be able to integrate the knowledge learned in the taught elements of the programme to demonstrate a comprehensive integrated understanding of the key technology and business issues associated with the chosen project area.
LO4 LO 4. Be able to present, both in writing and verbally, the study and its findings and to answer questions on the theoretical and practical context for the project.

Assessment Description:
The project is done on an individual basis. The main project phases, which are assessed separately include: - Project proposal (5%) - Requirements specification (10%) - Mid-Year Presentation (10%) - Dissertation (70%) - Project Showcase (5%) Projects should be aligned to the specialization chosen, for example - a learner choosing the Data Analytics specialization will be required to conduct a detailed analysis on a large data set containing thousands of records.
