| Teaching and Learning Strategy: |
This module will be delivered using a combination of lectures, tutorials, mock interviews, peer learning and guest lectures. Learners will develop practical skills in relation to interviewing as well as career planning and job analysis. Where appropriate, multi-media clips and learning technology will be utilised to facilitate flexible learning opportunities. Students will be expected to carry out recorded mock interviews and participate in peer review activities. |

Learning will take place in a classroom environment. Learners will have access to library resources, both physical and electronic, outside the classroom where required. Selected module materials will be placed on Moodle, the college's virtual learning environment |
| Module Description: |
This module aims to instil in students the value of continuous personal and professional development and to develop students who can independently self-manage their careers, identify and apply for career opportunities, network effectively and promote themselves at interview. Students will also have the knowledge, skills and competencies to produce a professional career plan related to their preferred career path. |
