On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 LO 1. Discuss what is meant by human resource management and discuss how personnel management and human resource management have changed and evolved.
LO2 LO 1. Evaluate how HRM can link with and contribute to the business.
LO3 LO 2. Analyse and discuss particular HRM activities and processes such as job analysis.
LO4 LO 3. Prepare some key pieces of HRM documentation e.g. job descriptions and design certain HRM processes.
LO5 LO 4. Apply their knowledge of HRM practices to given situations
LO6 LO 5. Discuss and advise on the policies relevant to the fair treatment of staff
LO7 LO 6. Advise on the recruitment process
LO8 LO 7. Advise on the development of a Human Resource Plan
