On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Demonstrate an understanding of the foundations of entrepreneurship and the world of the entrepreneur with its challenges, benefits and potential drawbacks.
LO2 Become familiar with the use of key frameworks in idea development, assessment, business model development and industry analysis
LO3 Design and build a competitive business model through the conducting of a feasibility analysis
LO4 Develop basic financial forecasts for a business idea.
LO5 Categorise the key entrepreneurial competencies in skills such as communication, analysis and business acumen necessary for enabling a successful entrepreneurial venture

Reassessment Description
Learners who do not achieve an overall pass mark in this module will be presented with a single assessment which will address all learning outcomes. This piece of assessment will be designed by the relevant member of faculty and validated by the second marker and extern.
