On successful completion of this programme the learner will be able to :

Articulate and apply conceptual knowledge in the broad area of education and learning throughout the lifespan.
Demonstrate and apply specialist knowledge in one specific context as either Early Childhood Education or Adult and Workforce Education.
Apply an integrated and comprehensive understanding of various theoretical perspectives on learning and development as discussed in the current literature with particular emphasis on Early Childhood Education.
Apply an integrated and comprehensive understanding of the way various educational theories are related to teaching/instructional strategies, assessment methods, and educational practices.
Demonstrate an integrated and systematic understanding of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
The ability to guide others to achieve learning in others
Critically discuss and decide on the appropriate application of methods, scaffolds and instructional approaches to enable effective learning.
Apply an integrated and systematic understanding of the current literature on educational assessment and feedback-for-learning and how feedback/assessment can be used to facilitate learning.
